Stephen Tanzer, International Wine Cellar, Mar/Apr '98 Apple, herbs and nutskin on the nose. Sweet, round, nutty and bright, but a bit aggressive. Slightly raisiny flavor is on the simple side. Good length.

The Portuguese Wine Magazine: "Good aroma, jammy, giving the sensation of being older than average, already showing nuttiness and vanillin notes. The ensemble is to a high standard, not one of the sweetest Ports with a good finish."
