60% Samso (Carinena), 30% Garnacha, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon und Syrah von 50-100 Jahre alten Reben. 12 Monate in Barriques aus französischer Eiche (20% neue, 80% gebrauchte) ausgebaut.

Alkoholgehalt: 14.5 Vol.%

Intensives, dunkles Kirschrot. Kraftvolle Aromen von Schwarzkirschen, Datteln, Feigen, Schokolade und Kaffee. Am Gaumen ein Konzentrat aus schwarzen Früchten, Kakao und Kräuterwürze. Edle mineralische Noten (Flusssteine, Schiefer). Mächtige Tannine, die noch etwas Zeit brauchen um vollkommen mit der Frucht zu verschmelzen. Die beeindruckende Vielschichtigkeit bleibt auch im sehr langen Finale erhalten. Trinkempfehlung: 2011 – 2024. Unbedingt dekantieren.

It offers greater complexity both aromatically and on the palate. Smoothly-textured, intense, plush, and spicy, it opens up nicely in the glass with floral (lavender), mineral, pepper, and black cherry notes reappearing in the robust finish."

Juicy, penetrating red and dark berry flavors stain the palate and repeat the licorice note. Dusty tannins add grip and focus to a long, mineral-dominated finish."
