50% Samso ,40% Garnacha, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon und Syrah, 8 Monate in Barriques aus französischer Eiche ausgebaut.

Alkoholgehalt: 14,0 Vol.%

Tief dunkles Granatrot. Die Nase entwickelt sich nach dem Dekantieren ausgezeichnet. Am Gaumen eine sehr hohe Konzentration, satte Frucht und straffe, noch etwas junge Tannine. Auch im Finale bleibt das große Volumen an Frucht und Holz erhalten. Die große Länge wird noch ein wenig vom Alkohol getragen, was sich aber in den nächsten Jahren noch regulieren wird. Trinkreife 2012-2022.

Der Jahrgang 2010 wurde noch nicht bewertet, die allgemeine Jahrgangsbewertung ist exzellent. Bewertung des Jahrgangs 2009 war: 91-94 Punkte Robert Parker, Wine Advocate #194 May 2011: "The 2009 Camins del Priorat is more perfumed than the 2008 as well as more structured." $22.

Alvaro Palacios established his namesake winery in 1989. The flagship L’Ermita made its debut in 1993. Finca Dofi and L’Ermita vineyards are farmed biodynamically. All of the wines are bottled without filtration. In 2008 Palacios was the last grower in Priorat to harvest, waiting out rains that diluted other growers’ fruit. It appears that 2009 was a slightly more successful vintage for Alvaro Palacios (and most Priorat producers) than was 2008. All of the 2009s were tasted from barrel samples at the Bodega in January 2011
