Dichtes Dunktelrot. Konzentriertes Bukett mit viel schwarzen Beeren (Brombeeren, Pflaumen), Rosinen. Athletischer Auftritt am Gaumen, kraftvoll und elegant. Toastanklänge des Barriqueausbaus verwoben mit opulenter Frucht (Brombeeren, Kirschen), Kakao, mineralische Note. Die Tannine schmelzen und begleiten den angenehm fruchtig langen Abgang. Trinkreife 2011-2018.

Der Finca Sobreno Crianza 2007 wurde noch nicht bewertet. Jahrgangsbewertung 2006: 90+ Punkte Robert Parker, Wine Advocate #181, Feb 2009: "The 2006 Crianza was sourced from purchased fruit averaging thirty years of age and was aged for seven months in American oak. Purple-colored, it exhibits a fragrant nose of cedar, damp earth, pencil lead, black cherry, and blackberry. On the palate it is smooth textured, ripe, and easygoing leading to a finish with no hard edges. It can be enjoyed over the next five years. Drink: 2009 - 2014 $17 (17)
Bodegas Sobreno is relatively new, having been founded in 1998. The winery owns 80 hectares of Tempranillo vines and controls under contract another 150. Their Crianza bottling has been an annual fixture in these pages for its superb value.
