Am Gaumen präzise und vielschichtig: seidig-polierte, dicht gewobene Tannine, kühle Fruchtführung, exzellente Linienführung durch die Säure – das Ganze mündet in ein minutenlanges, dunkelwürziges Finale. Ein Pomerol der „Power-mit-Contenance“-Schule: opulent, aber nie schwer, mit klarer Perspektive auf weitere Komplexität in der Reife.
